Read Our Fall Bulletin
In the fall issue of the Miraculous Medal Bulletin, Fr. Kevin talks about St. Vincent de Paul’s true calling of ministering to the poor and the connection between St Vincent, his Congregation of the Mission, St. Catherine Labouré, and the Association of the Miraculous Medal. Don’s article talks about planting the seeds of faith – then and now. Fr. Ron Ramson introduces new martyrs who will be publicly recognized on November 11, 2017, Daughter of Charity, Sister Carol Schumer, talks about her mother’s devotion to our Blessed Mother and the impact it’s had in her own life, and Fr. Ron Hoye shares a heartwarming story about a prisoner finding Christ through the Catholic Home Study courses. In this issue you will also find your personal invitation to attend our 2018 pilgrimage to France and Switzerland. Read the 2017 Fall Bulletin for these articles and more, and find new gifts in our 2017 Fall Gift Brochure.

Here at our Lady’s Association, we know well the encouraging power of a beautiful, personal note sent with love. This is why we continue our long tradition of sharing Christmas cards for you to send as spiritual gifts to relatives, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and anyone else in need of God’s loving grace. This year we are excited to offer three new designs. Read Fr. Kevin’s letter about the power of sending cards to loved ones, especially during the Christmas season. Any intentions you send us will be placed at our Lady’s Shrine for remembrance in the Christmas Octave beginning on Christmas Day and ending on January 1. Request your Christmas cards today and send us your intentions.

In the years since the Miraculous Medal was first struck, Mary has touched the lives of hundreds of millions who have worn her medal and trusted in her intercession. The Association here in Perryville, Missouri, continues this mission by bringing people to Jesus through our Lady of the Miraculous Medal.  Allow the Association to pray with you. Send your petitions for remembrance in our annual Miraculous Medal Novena, November 18-26, and request Votive Lights to burn.  Read more about how Mary is waiting to hear from you. To help you remember to pray and ask for God’s graces, request your 15-month Miraculous Medal Planner for 2018-2019. As you write your own scheduled dates and events, it will remind you that Mary brings Jesus to you every day of your life!

November All Souls Remembrance
At the Shrine of our Lady in Perryville, we will pray for your deceased relatives and friends throughout the month of November. On All Souls Day, November 2, we will celebrate Mass for those you wish to remember. Send me their names so they can be placed near Mary’s Shrine for All Souls Day, and if you also give us their anniversary dates, we will remember your loved ones at the appropriate time in the coming year. You can also burn Votive Lights for your departed loved ones as a visible reminder of your prayers for them. Read Fr. Kevin’s letter about the time-honored tradition of commemorating the faithful departed on All Souls Day.

Photos from the Rome Symposium
In celebration of the 400th anniversary of the founding of our Vincentian charism, over 11,000 members of the International Vincentian Family gathered in Rome on October 12 for 4 days of meetings and worship.  The highlight was a Papal Audience on October 14, 2017.   The Pope spoke about our charities being born of the tenderness and compassion of St. Vincent for the poor and marginalized.  Six staff members of the Association of the Miraculous Medal in Perryville, Missouri, were blessed to attend this special event.
