Sometimes we don’t know just how special we are to other people. We may perform small acts of kindness, pray for the health or safety of others, or support charitable organizations like the Association of the Miraculous Medal through our gifts and prayers. We might not know the results of our actions, but many times, they are far-reaching and make a significant impact in the lives of complete strangers.
Your gift to our Lady's Association today will help spread devotion to our Lady of the Miraculous Medal and help change the lives of many others—for the better. Here are just a few examples of people who were helped by the Association last year—
- members of our local Vincentian Marian Youth chapter, who meet monthly at the Shrine Church. Just by seeing the thousands of Votive Lights burning near Mary’s Shrine Altar they gain a new insight into the faith of others and the power of prayer,
- young men studying for the priesthood here in the United States and in Kenya who are supported through prayers and financial gifts,
- poor families in poverty stricken areas of West Virginia, Illinois, Louisiana, Missouri, and Indiana who have been helped by Vincentian sponsored service organizations,
- senior Vincentian priests and brothers who live at the Apostle of Charity residence here on the Shrine campus. They know the value of prayers for them, and they in turn pray daily for Association members,
- and many, many poor and abandoned people around the world.
Help others by making a gift to our Lady's Association today.
Send your petitions to our Lady’s Shrine. We pray daily at our Lady’s Shrine for all who bring their intentions before Mary’s Altar in confident prayer. As members of our Lady’s Association, we work and pray together for the benefit of each other and for the most abandoned of Mary’s children.
There are many different ways to contribute to our Lady's Association and you can read about them here.
Read a short letter from a friend who wrote to me in thanksgiving to our Lady and for the prayers offered for her intentions here at our Lady's Shrine.
Sincerely yours,
