Read Our Winter Bulletin
In the 2017 Winter Bulletin, Father Kevin shares a summary and reflection on Pope Francis’ message given at the Vincentian Family Symposium in Rome in October. Don talks about the twists and turns in life we all go through, while Fr. Ramson invites all of us to bring one new person into one of the branches of the Vincentian tree. You will also read about the Association’s 100th anniversary which will be celebrated in 2018 and you will find information about the Association’s 2018 pilgrimage to France and Switzerland which ties into our anniversary. A new Votive Light card for the Christmas season and bleak winter months is featured as is our financial accountability report for 2017. To learn more about the ways you can give a Year-End gift to the Association, be sure to read the Winter Bulletin.

In the fall issue of the Miraculous Medal Bulletin, Fr. Kevin talks about St. Vincent de Paul’s true calling of ministering to the poor and the connection between St Vincent, his Congregation of the Mission, St. Catherine Labouré, and the Association of the Miraculous Medal. Don’s article talks about planting the seeds of faith – then and now. Fr. Ron Ramson introduces new martyrs who will be publicly recognized on November 11, 2017, Daughter of Charity, Sister Carol Schumer, talks about her mother’s devotion to our Blessed Mother and the impact it’s had in her own life, and Fr. Ron Hoye shares a heartwarming story about a prisoner finding Christ through the Catholic Home Study courses. In this issue you will also find your personal invitation to attend our 2018 pilgrimage to France and Switzerland. In the summer issue of the Miraculous Medal Bulletin, Fr. Kevin talks about Christ inviting us to “welcome” the stranger like Saint Vincent de Paul did. The image of the modern stranger may be different from Saint Vincent’s time, but the stranger’s condition has not changed. Don’s article compares the ‘weeds of life’ to the weeds in our yard. Both Fr. Ron Ramson and a Daughter of Charity talk about their personal experiences following the Vincentian charism. In this issue you will also find highlights from both the Perryville and Montebello May Processions, and highlights from the Association’s pilgrimage to Portugal and Spain. Read the Summer Bulletin for these articles and more.

In the spring issue of the Miraculous Medal Bulletin, Fr. Kevin talks about celebrating the 400th anniversary of the Vincentian charism and what that means for Catholics.  Don writes about using our time on earth, especially during the 40 days of Lent, to focus on prayer and putting faith into action. An invitation to our annual May Procession is also included in this issue of the Bulletin. We hope you will take time to read these articles and others in the 2017 Spring Bulletin.
