Association of the Miraculous Medal

As testimonies to the generosity of God's love in answer to prayers offered through our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, the Association receives thousands of letters. In that spirit of gratitude to God, the Association publishes edited sections of some letters.

The first letter is from New York.

Dear Father,

I enrolled my family as perpetual members of the Association of the Miraculous Medal earlier this year. The mother of one of my co-workers was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and had been in and out of the hospital. A few months ago, my wife and I decided to get a Healing Remembrance certificate and light a Votive Light at the Shrine for her. We also sent her a Miraculous Medal. I am a member of the Confraternity of the Most Holy Rosary and I also prayed the rosary confidently for her healing. As my co-worker is no longer a practicing Catholic, I gave him the card to give to his mother with the medal. He replied, "Wow, what is this?" I told him about the Miraculous Medal and that his mother would be remembered in prayer at the Shrine. His mother went to the doctor recently and was told that her stage 4 cancer is completely gone. Now that is a miracle! I would like to thank our Blessed Mother and the Vincentian priests and brothers for their prayers. I told my co-worker that it was a miracle, but he still seems doubtful. Please continue to pray, so that he is able to recognize God's grace.

The second letter is from Delaware.

Dear Father,

Our family thanks the Association of the Miraculous Medal for their prayers for my husband. He is able to lead a fairly normal life after having several cardiac surgeries and two bouts of pneumonia. We are so thankful to our Blessed Mother for her intercession.

Share your story of Mary's intercession for you.
