Association of the Miraculous Medal

As testimonies to the generosity of God's love in answer to prayers offered through our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, the Association receives thousands of letters. In that spirit of gratitude to God, the Association publishes edited sections of some letters.

The first letter is from Mississippi.

Dear Father,

Recently my husband and I were driving during heavy rush hour traffic in a nearby town. As I was turning off the main road into a business, I saw two passenger trucks approaching at close range and at full speed. I had no way to avoid what may have been a fatal collision given the circumstances. I screamed and froze waiting for the inevitable. But, there was no screeching of tires with an ensuing crash. The trucks passed harmlessly and dis-appeared. We were both thankful and amazed. I was wearing my Miraculous Medal and my husband had one on his key ring. We also had a visor clip with an image of Jesus. Shortly before this incident happened, we had stopped to help a homeless person who responded by saying, "God bless you." I have no doubt that it was through the miraculous intercession of our Lady that we were saved from what most likely would have been a fatal accident. Thank you dear Mother!

The second letter is from an email.

Dear Father,

A few years ago I was unemployed, looking for a teaching job. I applied for other types of jobs, asking for Mary's intercession. On the eve of the Assumption feast day, I received an email from the Post Office inviting me for a job interview on August 22, my Marian Consecration Day, the Queenship of Mary. I got the job as long as I passed a few requirements. After weeks of paperwork, drug testing, a physical, etc., I received my congratulations letter, welcoming me to the Post Office. This letter was dated September 8, Mary's birthday! It occurred to me when I received this letter that everything seemed to fall on a feast day of our Lady. The day I initially applied for the job was the feast of the Visitation. Mary had to be interceding for me!

Share your story of Mary's intercession for you.
