Association of the Miraculous Medal

As testimonies to the generosity of God's love in answer to prayers offered through our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, the Association receives thousands of letters. In that spirit of gratitude to God, the Association publishes edited sections of some letters.

The first letter is from Connecticut.

Dear Father,

For the past few months, my family has been struggling with a series of events that have knocked us off our feet. My beloved uncle died, my father was diagnosed with mesothelioma, a very close friend is dealing with end stage prostate cancer, and my aunt is in a home with dementia. On top of that, I have been tasked with settling my uncle’s estate. In the process of this, my husband and I decided to sell our home and purchase my uncle’s house to be near my parents who are not in good health. On a particular day when I was feeling the weight of our house not being sold and how to make everything work with my uncle’s estate, I found one of your envelopes containing a Miraculous Medal taped to my car. I read the enclosed explanation card and put the medal on a chain to wear. In the ten days since finding that medal, we accepted an offer on our house and received the news that my father’s treatments are going so well that he may be a candidate for surgery. I truly believe that the sudden turn for the better wasn’t a coincidence. I have no idea who left me the Miraculous Medal, but I plan to support your mission as a way of giving thanks to our Blessed Mother.

The second letter is from an email.

Dear Father,

I want to share my testimony in order to give thanks to our Mother Mary and to inspire others with her miracles. I received a Miraculous Medal from a cousin. I felt so blessed to have it because of the difficulties in my life at the time. My husband was a drug addict and we had deep financial problems. I was also suffering from stress and depression. My only hope was through our Blessed Mother. My husband recently stopped taking drugs and we started attending Mass together. I know Mary heard my prayers. Jesus has his own purpose and his own time for everything. Thank you Mother Mary!

Share your story of Mary's intercession for you.
