Association of the Miraculous Medal

As testimonies to the generosity of God's love in answer to prayers offered through our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, the Association receives thousands of letters. In that spirit of gratitude to God, the Association publishes edited sections of some letters.

September 4, 2017

The first letter is from Arkansas.

Dear Father,

I was shopping in a store when a young man noticed my Miraculous Medal. He told me about his love for our Lady and that he asked to receive a gold Miraculous Medal for his graduation instead of a class ring. We live in the deep south and he was so glad to see me wear my medal in public so everyone could see it. I told him it is good to show our devotion and tell the world about our Lady.

The second letter is from Wisconsin.

Dear Father,

My father was in intensive care slowly recovering after a near death experience. I remembered my Miraculous Medal in my pocket which my son gave me. I laid the medal on his wrist and asked Mary to please save my dad and give him another year to live. My dad recovered from that incident and lived another 10 months. There is no doubt in my mind that Mary interceded on his behalf. Six years earlier my mother was very ill and was also in intensive care. I pinned a medal to her pillow for her entire seven week stay in the hospital. She made it home and lived another four years. Nurses and doctors told me at different times that her recovery was a true miracle. They did not believe that she would survive. Thank you Mary and Jesus!

Share your story of Mary's intercession for you.
