Association of the Miraculous Medal

As testimonies to the generosity of God's love in answer to prayers offered through our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, the Association receives thousands of letters. In that spirit of gratitude to God, the Association publishes edited sections of some letters.

October 9, 2017

The first letter is from Kansas.

Dear Father,

In February of 2009 my wife was waiting for a lung transplant. We were told she was critical and would not live through the weekend. We went to San Francisco and prayed to our Lady all the way. We received a miracle of improved health and many more months until her death in September of 2009. Our Lady continues to bless us, and we pray now for a financial miracle as we are confident she will ask our Lord and God for this favor.

The second letter is from Montana.

Dear Father,

During World War II, my father took patrol for someone in Rhineland, Germany. He heard a noise which turned out to be a German ambush. He shouted out to his unit and was machine gunned down from his shoulder to his waist. He remembered the novena to our Lady and began praying it. When he got to the end of the prayer, he blacked out. He woke up three days later in a full body cast. His doctor told him there is no way he should be alive. My father, and our family, are convinced it was our Lady who saved him that day.
