Association of the Miraculous Medal

As testimonies to the generosity of God's love in answer to prayers offered through our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, the Association receives thousands of letters. In that spirit of gratitude to God, the Association publishes edited sections of some letters.

July 3, 2017

The first letter is from Kansas.

Dear Father,

I have two teenage children who are becoming more independent and want to make their own choices. They are 17 and 18 and do need more chances to spread their wings, but I have reservations and fears as they are the last ones out of the nest. As I have prayed to our Blessed Mother for help in protecting them, she has answered me. I need to remember these young ones are God's, not mine, and he loves them more than I ever could. He put them in my care, and Mary and her son will always be there to help guide me in being a parent. This has changed everything as I seek to follow our Blessed Mother's advice. The children are complying with love and respect. Our home is filling with peace and mutuality as they are asking for advice and go to Mass. They are re-defining their lifestyles and priorities to give Jesus and our Catholic teachings more attention and devotion.

The second letter is from Texas.

Dear Father,

Several years ago I petitioned our Lady daily when I applied to Texas A&M University as a transfer student. I was three credits short of their requirements for transfer. On the other hand, I had exceeded my maximum hours at my junior college to continue receiving future financial aid. My choices were stark. I could continue at my junior college with another course by paying out-of- pocket, or I could pray for a miracle that Texas A&M University would accept my course work even though I was shy of the three credits required. I went with the second option and asked our Lady to intervene on my behalf. I was accepted to Texas A&M for their fall semester! Thank you, Blessed Mother of God, for taking up my case. I remain forever your faithful servant in Christ.

Share your story of Mary's intercession for you.
