Association of the Miraculous Medal

As testimonies to the generosity of God's love in answer to prayers offered through our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, the Association receives thousands of letters. In that spirit of gratitude to God, the Association publishes edited sections of some letters.

January 23, 2017

The first letter is from Connecticut.

Dear Father,

When my daughter was 15 months old, she became very sick and the doctors told my husband and I that she might have only a short time to live. I fled to our Blessed Mother and asked her to intervene along with a promise to recite her rosary daily for the remainder of my life. We received a call from the hospital a day later, saying they had made a mistake. Our daughter was healthy and going to be fine. She is now eight years old and in wonderful health. Mary never fails to help us when we go to her. She is our true loving Mother, and we are so grateful to her.

The second letter is from Massachusetts.

Dear Father,

My husband was in a nursing home in the area. He could no longer walk. He was accepted in a nursing home in my home town because the others had long waiting lists. He was abused several times and, in fact, he had an accident there that rendered him paralyzed. I was frantically trying to get him into a better place. Finally, frustrated, I turned to our Mother Mary and promised that I would pray a rosary novena rosary of 54 days (27 for petition and 27 in thanksgiving). On the third day of the rosary, I received a call from a wonderful nursing home that said they would accept my husband. Mary is very powerful and I always wear her Miraculous Medal. I am now finishing the 27 days of thanksgiving. Mary is truly my Mother!
