No trial has come to you but what is human. God is faithful and will not let you be tried beyond your strength; but with the trial he will also provide a way out, so that you may be able to bear it.

Here's What's New

Carry our Lady to school

For many, school will begin in a few weeks. Many emotions like excitement, nervousness, sadness, hope, doubt, and anxiety are felt by students and parents alike. Certainly Jesus, Mary, and Joseph encountered these same “back-to-school” feelings. Just as Mary assisted Jesus in his mission of fulfilling God’s law, so also will she help us follow God’s holy will. To show you care, send someone going to school this fall our new “back-to-school” Votive Light card. You can also send us your intentions to be remembered in the prayers and Masses at the Shrine during the school year. To request a “Backpack Mary Medal” as a reminder of our Lady’s protection, click here to see more details and to submit your order.  Read Father Luke's message  on how Jesus must have encountered many of the same scenarios as our kids now.

Deepen your faith while helping to further our mission

The Association of the Miraculous Medal in Perryville is looking for volunteers to assist in fulfilling our mission of bringing the Blessed Mother, conceived without sin, to all Catholics in North America. If you are looking for ways to be closer to God, to help others, or (something to do) to stay active, volunteering at the Association of the Miraculous Medal is the way to go. We have opportunities for volunteers in Perryville for the Church, Church grounds, and AMM production area. We would be happy to have you help in any way possible. If you are interested, please contact Frank Ryan, Volunteer Coordinator at 573-768-7013 or

Assumption Novena

On August 15, we will celebrate Mary’s Assumption into heaven. Saint John the disciple had a vision of Mary as a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of stars. His vision fits well with Mary’s own portrait of herself in heaven which is the Miraculous Medal. You are invited to send your petitions and burn Votive Lights at our Lady’s Shrine during our Assumption Novena, August 7-15. For more information about Mary’s Assumption and how this ties in with the Miraculous Medal, read Father Luke's message.

The Association invites you to join our fall pilgrimage to Greece and Turkey, October 28 to November 7, 2014.  Father Charles Shelby, C.M., Associate Spiritual Director of our Lady’s Association, will once again be leading this exciting and spiritual journey covering places visited by St. Paul and other apostles and missionaries of the early Church. Ancient cities like Athens and Corinth will be explored along with Istanbul, Turkey and the city of Ephesus, where it is believed that the Virgin Mary spent her last days. Beautiful churches, basilicas, and monasteries will also be visited. A cruise will cover the majority of the pilgrimage in both Greece and Turkey. And there will be daily opportunities to celebrate Mass, pray the rosary, and talk with Fr. Shelby.  For more information or to reserve your spot, please click here or call 1-800-264-MARY (6279).
