Thank you to the hundreds of generous families who have made this restoration possible.

‚ÄčSaint Mary's of the Barrens Church & Shrine will reopen for the month of December, but will close again on January 2, 2018 through March 31, 2018. Easter Sunday Mass will be celebrated at the Shrine Church.

The Monday night novena to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal and Confession will resume at the Shrine Church from Monday, December 4, up to and including Monday, January 1. After that time, the novena will return to St. Vincent de Paul Church on Saturday morning after the 8:00 a.m. Mass.

The grotto and grounds at Saint Mary's of the Barrens will be closed until May 2018.

We hope that you will join us in the month of December for the Christmas Country Church Tour and Christmas Midnight Mass or Monday, January 1, for the Monday Night Novena to see the progress being made in the restoration of the Shrine Church.

Thank you for your continued understanding as we work around the
schedule of our contractors, electricians, painters, and finishers.

As you can see from the pictures, it is really needed. If you haven't had a chance yet and still want to be a part of this once every hundred year restoration, there are still some beads and benches along the Rosary Walk that are available for naming.

If you have questions or you are interested in supporting the restoration campaign, please call
1-800-264-6279 and ask to speak with Sherry Clark, Krista Koishor, or Pat Vetter.

The Association of the Miraculous Medal would like to thank you for your support and understanding as the restoration campaign moves forward.

Like the Miraculous Medal, blessed oil is a sign of our faith and a reminder of God’s immense love. Its healing properties are found in the spiritual conversion of growing closer to our Lord – in prayer, in reading of sacred Scripture, and in reception of the Church’s sacraments, especially Holy Eucharist and Reconciliation. For an offering of $17 or more, we will send you a hand-packaged, 1/2 ounce bottle of Blessed Mother Oil which has been blessed and touched to a relic of Saint Catherine Labouré here at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. Send your intentions and say this prayer to our Lady for healing when using this oil on yourself, your children, grandchildren, and anyone else in need of Mary’s motherly care and God’s healing love.
